The voice of reason and knowledge is the best way to describe Sensei Wu. He has trained the ninja in the art of Spinjitzu and has mastered all the elements. There is little he cannot do. Of course, there are moves that might hurt his joints.

He is the only minifigure that has nothing but gold weapons in his set. He is truly a force of power. He also is wearing a black outfit, which is his rarer design that only shows up in two other sets.

This version of Sensei Wu has black hips and legs. The legs have gold Asian characters and a gray belt painted on. His torso is black with more gold Asian patterns on the front and a gold dragon on the back. The torso has white arms and yellow hands. His head features white facial hair. He has a white fancy beard to wear on his neck and a tan Asian conical straw hat.

As stated before, all his weapons are gold. He has a pearl gold katana, a pearl gold staff, and an odd pearl gold whip. The whip features a bar, a short chain, and a small barb. All of these pieces are in pearl gold.

Start by having two opponents in a ring. Each opponent will have a total of three weapons. The objective is to knock off your enemy from their spinner. If you do so, take their weapon. When you have all three of their weapons you win.

This set comes with Sensei Wu’s fancy spinner. It is entirely translucent medium blue. It has purple and white flower decorations on the top. He also comes with a black modified plate with a rounded bottom to make the spinner work properly. You also get two one-by-two white bricks and a two-by-two white plate.

Game Options: 4 out of 5 Studs. This set not only gives you the famous Sensei, but you also get all gold weapons.

Worth the Price: 4 out of 5 Studs. Nearly all the other spinners only have one gold weapon. This set has three and a fairly rare version of Sensei Wu.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 Studs. The only draw back to this set is that kids may not relate well to an old man.

Recommendations

This set has a lot more character than other spinners. It captures Sensei Wu’s charm and fighting style while still delivering some nice elements. This is a solid entry for those who love the game and a decent choice for those who just like the parts.
